<p>The Vancouver Washington Temple is currently in the planning stages. No groundbreaking date has been announced.</p>

<h4 class="label">Temple Rendering</h4>
<p>An official rendering of the Vancouver Washington Temple has not yet been released to the public.</p>

<h4 class="label">Temple Site</h4>
<p>On February 26, 2024, the location of the Vancouver Washington Temple was announced as a 15.11-acre site located northwest of the intersection of SE 20th Street and SE Bybee Road in the Vancouver suburb of Camas. Plans call for a multistory temple of approximately 43,000 square feet.<sup>1</sup></p>

<h4 class="label">Temple Announcement</h4>
<p>On October 1, 2023, President Russell M. Nelson announced plans to construct the Vancouver Washington Temple at the October 2023 General Conference. It will be the sixth temple in Washington state and the second in the Portland metropolitan area. At the time of the announcement, dedicated temples in the state included the <a href="/columbia-river-washington-temple/" onmouseover="showTip('columbia-river-washington-temple')" onmouseout="unTip()">Columbia River Washington Temple</a>, the <a href="/seattle-washington-temple/" onmouseover="showTip('seattle-washington-temple')" onmouseout="unTip()">Seattle Washington Temple</a>, the <a href="/spokane-washington-temple/" onmouseover="showTip('spokane-washington-temple')" onmouseout="unTip()">Spokane Washington Temple</a>, and the <a href="/moses-lake-washington-temple/" onmouseover="showTip('moses-lake-washington-temple')" onmouseout="unTip()">Moses Lake Washington Temple</a>. The <a href="/tacoma-washington-temple/" onmouseover="showTip('tacoma-washington-temple')" onmouseout="unTip()">Tacoma Washington Temple</a> had been announced in October 2022.
